chocolate chip sour cream marble cake

On 06 Dec, i brought my children to Bugis for praying and at the same time had brought them to Sun Lik Trading as this bakery shop is just two bus stop away. When we got down from the bus, we reached Bras Basah Complex and we came to a bookshop that are having closing down sales, myself and children each got 2 books from there.
At Sun Lik, i had finally decided to purchase the new pan at S$25.90 as i saw quite a no. of blogger been using this to make cake and agar agar so useful.
Finally, yesterday evening i flipped for the recipe from Blogger - Honey Bee Sweets and had make the above item.
Verdict, the cake is very moist and soft, this morning was left 3 pcs before i came to office. I will make again by using yorhurt. Already bought a tub in my fridge.
Ingredient:
Chocolate Paste
3tbsp of cocoa powder
mix with 3tbsp of hot water.
Cake Batter:
250g unsalted butter, room temperature
300g caster sugar
4 large eggs
2 & 1/2 tsp vanilla extract ( i used XO brandy)
210g sour cream
420g Cake flour/ plain flour
2 & 3/4tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
100g chocolate chip
Method:
1. Preheat the oven at 180C. Greased a 10" bundt pan
2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
3. Slowly add in egg and then vanilla.
4. Add in sour cream and scraping the bottom of the mixing bowl to make sure it is evenly combined.
5. Fold in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and blend well. Lastly mix in the chocolate chip into the batter and mix well.
6. Remove 1/3 of batter and mix in the chocolate paste into it.
7. Spoon in the vanilla batter into the bundt pan and alternating with some spoons of chocolate batter as well to create the marble effect. Repeat till all the batter has been put in.
8. Place in the oven to bake for 40 to 50 mins.
9. Once baked, remove from oven and let cool on rack for 15 minutes , then remove from pan and let cool completely on plate.
